William John Huggins painted the East Indiaman Atlas off South Foreland, near Dover. She made her first voyage to India in 1813 and at least nine more by 1830. The picture is dated 1826, probably at the end of her seventh voyage to Madras and China. It is in Royal Museums Greenwich.
