Self-Portrait
Vincent van Gogh, 1887
Van Gogh painted more than twenty self-portraits during his two years in Paris, partly because he could not afford models. In this 1887 portrait he uses the short, colored strokes he learned from the Neo-Impressionists. It is in the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam.
