What size art over a couch or bed?

Choose what the art hangs over, or type its width. The picker draws the print, or a pair, to scale above it and says how high to hang it.

Method

  • The size is the largest whose long side is no more than two-thirds of the furniture's width, as in what size art for my wall. A pair is suggested, 4 in apart, when two-thirds is wider than our largest size.
  • The drawing is to scale, with the bottom of the frame 9 in above the top of the furniture (8 to 10 in is the usual range).
  • Widths are typical. Beds use the mattress width; measure your headboard if it is wider.
  • Sizes are the printed picture; the frame adds its own width on every side. Prices include the frame and US shipping.
