From Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. Travelers on a raised road bend against a sudden gust that strips leaves from the trees and blows sheets of paper into the sky. Fuji appears only as a simple outline on the horizon. This impression belongs to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
