The Tower of Milan Cathedral
Johann Karl Schultz, 1829
Johann Karl Schultz painted the roof and central spire of Milan Cathedral in 1829. The cathedral's roof bristles with marble pinnacles and statues, and the gilded Madonnina stands on the highest spire. Schultz was a painter of architecture from Danzig.
