Vincent van Gogh painted Wheatfield with Crows in Auvers-sur-Oise in July 1890, weeks before his death. A golden wheatfield under a dark blue sky is cut by three paths, while crows fly low over the field. The double-square canvas is in the Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam.
