Carl Daniel Freydanck painted Glienicke Castle from Babelsberg in 1838. The neo-Gothic pleasure palace sits across the water in the Potsdam park landscape under a calm sky. Freydanck produced many views of Prussian royal residences for the porcelain manufactory.
