Water Lilies (Agapanthus)
Claude Monet, 1915–1926
Monet spent the last thirty years of his life painting the lily pond in his garden at Giverny, just north of Paris. This wide canvas belongs to the large-scale water lily works of his final decade. It is one panel of a triptych now divided between Cleveland, St. Louis and Kansas City.
